Coaching Business - How to Outsmart
and Outplay Your Competitors
Sean R Mize
There are just so many things that you need to keep in mind
when running just any type of business. There's your customers,
your marketing campaign, your products and services, your
pricing, etc. But if there's one thing that you cannot simply
leave out of the equation, it would be your competitors. There
are people who are selling the same products and who are out
there to win the business of your prospects. It's important
that you do something to ensure that they will not succeed
otherwise, you'll fail.
Here's how you can make that happen:
First step is to study the people that you're going up
against closely. Google search your chosen niche plus
the word "coaching." Then, list down the top 10 sites that
are appearing on the search page results. These are your biggest
competitors. These are the people who are getting more attention.
Study their website, know their marketing techniques, be familiar
with their promotional gimmicks, and the things that make
them stand out from the crowd. Also, know why people love
them. From here, you can easily figure out how you can outplay
them. Create plans of action that will help you make your
programs more effective, your Internet marketing campaign
more compelling, and your website more attractive compared
to theirs.
Put your customers on top of your priority list. Nobody
can beat you if you commit yourself to making each of your
customers extremely happy. Let me tell you now that this will
not be easy and most of the time, it will require you to take
that extra mile but you can be assured that it will be worth
it. Happy customers are those who become loyal clients through
the years. They're also the kind of customers who'll promote
your products and services through word-of-mouth advertising.
That's one free marketing technique that really works.
Always try something new. Being very creative would
always work to your advantage. Don't be content with your
programs even if other people think that they're already great.
Instead, continuously find new ways on how you can improve
them. It's important that you always offer something new especially
for your returning clients. Give them something to look forward
to and they'll surely come back for more.
Listen to your clients. One of the biggest mistakes
that other ebusiness owners commit is that they do not pay
attention to their client base. Well, listening to these people
can actually help you. You'll be surprised as to how much
you can learn from them. For me, this has helped me make my
programs more compelling to their eyes and that's definitely
something that made a huge difference on my sign up rate.
Supercharge your Internet marketing campaign. Sometimes,
outplaying your competitors would mean being more visible
in the online arena. If your potential clients see your name
everywhere, they'll most likely to think of you first when
they're thinking about signing up to a coaching program. So,
make sure your Internet marketing campaign is extremely effective,
focused, and very aggressive.
