"The Mental Game" Television Series Completes Pilot Episode
TMG
Entertainment announces the launch of their new television
series program, "The Mental Game", and the completion
of the episode, "The Mental Game" tennis pilot.
"The Mental Game" is a half hour reality-style television
show, hosted by the acclaimed author and mental game coach,
Bill Cole, MS, MA. The show focuses on how accomplished people
learn, perform and achieve greatness and will explore how
these people think, access mental toughness and overcome adversity.
Bill Cole says, "Paradoxically, the mind is the last frontier
of study and control in anything we do. Top achievers and
performers know that mind power is what separates them from
the rest of the field and catapults them into the winner's
circle. Especially in these tough economic times, a program
that recognizes obstacles and provides tools to conquer the
challenges and to achieve success is extremely relevant. A
strong mental game, whether on the court, in the board room
or in personal relationships, is a desire of everyone."
Bill Cole, with over 30 years in sports psychology, research
and mental game coaching that bring a unique brand of skilled
education to the audience, has also authored the acclaimed

Hollywood Personal Trainer Sets Elliptical Record For Charity
He called it "ElliptiSize for ALS," and fitness expert Erik
Flowers went 24-hours on an elliptical machine during the
43rd annual Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon. The event
was designed to bring awareness and funds to "Augie's Quest,"
an organization that raises money for Amyotrophic Lateral
Sclerosis (also known as "Lou Gehrig's Disease").
It may not be a recognized record by organizations that sanctions
such events, but it is the first time anyone has ever attempted
an elliptical marathon.
Fact is Flowers went the equivalent distance of three marathons
at a walking pace. He burned over 10,000 calories while maintaining
a heart rate of barely over 100 beats per minute. Flowers
trained six months for the event. "This was my tribute to
Augie Nieto, a fitness industry icon and role-model," says
Flowers. Nieto invented the Lifecycle and started the Life
Fitness company. He developed ALS about two years ago, at
54 years old. Flowers raised $4,000-$5,000, with contributions
still coming in.
Earlier this year, Flowers was named one of L.A.'s most innovative
personal trainers. His gym, Body Builders Gym, is located
in Silver Lake, between Hollywood and downtown Los Angeles.
Flowers lives in Orange County, CA.
He is also a certified mental game coach by the International
