The International Mental Game Coaching Association Announces
Julie Merrick Is A New Level I Certified Coach.
Julie Merrick, a coach and consultant based in Camarillo,
California, has earned the Level I Certification by the International
Mental Game Coaching Association. Ms. Merrick was awarded
the title of Certified Mental Game Instructor.
Bill Cole, MS, MA, Founder and President of IMGCA stated,

Ms. Merrick is a California credentialed science teacher,
played basketball and ran track in high school and went on
to run track in college on a track scholarship at Westmont
College in Santa Barbara, CA. She received a B.A. In Biology.
She loves many sports, including volleyball, fencing, ice
skating, lacrosse, and golf, football and baseball.
Level I IMGCA certification requires two hours of live private
telephonic 1-1 coaching with Bill Cole, MS, MA, IMGCA President.
Students also have access to over 70 hours of IMGCA pre-recorded
audio classes and over 500 mental training videos. Each student
completes reading assignments, written homework, practical
application of the class content and coaching practicums with
groups, teams and individuals as applicable and coaching feedback
evaluations. Each student passes the IMGCA Level I certification
written examination, or writes a final paper or creates and
submits a final project. Ms. Merrick's final project was creating,
developing and delivering a mental training workshop to a
women's high school basketball team.
This certification training is provided by the International
Mental Game Coaching Association, based in Cupertino, California.

Sandra Stammova, a professional motorcycle racer based in
Great Britain, has earned the Level II Certification by the
International
Mental Game Coaching Association. Ms. Stammova was awarded
the title of Certified Mental Game Coach.

Sandra Stammova is one of the top professional motorcycle
racers in the world. She raced in the Superbike class in New
Zealand and is now racing in England in the British Superbike

only woman in both New Zealand and UK Championships in this
class. She competes with such world-class racers as John Hopkins,
Ryuchi Kiyonari and Shane Byrne. The Superstock grid alone
includes three Isle of Man TT legends, including 17 times

New Zealand Snowplanet Ski Team for two years and worked with
the best Japanese coaches and Ben Griffin, the current New

Bill Cole, MS, MA was interviewed as a sport psychology
consultant for the January 2011 issue of The Performance
Menu, The Journal of Health & Athletic Excellence, in
an article entitled Mental Game Coaching: Interview with
Bill Cole.
The Journal of Health & Athletic Excellence is a monthly
magazine that contains articles exploring Olympic weightlifting,
strength training, athletic strength & conditioning, fitness
training, CrossFit, nutrition-including Paleo recipes-for
athletes, coaches and trainers.
Mr. Cole is the founder of the International Mental Game Coaching
Association, and has worked as an NCAA Division I head coach,
a sport psychology coach for the Stanford University Baseball
and the Israeli Davis Cup Tennis Team and the mental game
consultant for the Irish National Cricket Team. Cole has served
as a sports psychology consultant for various elite level
athletes, including 2006 Olympic Gold Medalist and two-time
