The International Mental Game Coaching Association Announces Dr. Lenny Giammatteo is a new IMGCA Certified Golf Psychology Coach.
Dr. Lenny Giammatteo, based in Lakeland, Florida, has graduated from the Certified Golf Psychology Coach program administered by the International Mental Game Coaching Association. Dr. Giammatteo was awarded the title of IMGCA Certified Golf Psychology Coach, (CGPC).

Lenny earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology, Health and Physical Education from Florida Southern College, a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Guidance Counseling from Liberty and Nova Southeastern University, and a doctorate in Human Development from Nova Southeastern University.
Lenny was a professor at Southeastern University, teaching human performance and sport studies. He was the sport psychology coach for the Southeastern University athletic teams.

Overview of IMGCA Certification Programs
The IMGCA Golf Psychology Certification Program requires two hours of live private telephonic or web-based video 1-1 coaching with Bill Cole, MS, MA, IMGCA President. IMGCA Golf Psychology Certification students have access to a compilation of 59 specialized golf psychology videos, over ten hours of golf psychology audios, two assessments, and 48 specialized golf psychology articles. Level III and IV IMGCA certification students have access to over 120 hours of IMGCA pre-recorded audio classes, over 500 mental training videotapes, over 50 additional content articles and 12 assessments. Across all certifications, IMGCA has over 140 specialized sport psychology content articles. New content is being added continuously.
Each student completes reading assignments, written homework, practical application of the class content and coaching practicum with groups, teams and individuals as applicable, and coaching feedback evaluations. Each student passes the IMGCA Golf Psychology Certification written examination.

Vladimira's Motivations For IMGCA Certification
Vladimira has always been a lifelong learner, across many disciplines. For example, she is a certified yoga practitioner. She has studied many forms of meditation. She engages in health and wellness practices.
Even though she is a top project manager at IBM, Vladimira always felt there was more she could do for people, particularly on an individual basis. She began thinking of ways to reinvent herself. And she always wanted to have her own business. Life coaching, business coaching and mental game coaching seemed like the logical next step. Vladimira attended the Business Coaching College in Slovakia with a focus on Life Coaching (an ICF certified course) and graduated in June 2024 as an ICF-Certified Coach. Vladimira is taking a Systemic Coaching Course in the Business Coaching College. She has also been studying Psychology at the Paneuropean University in Bratislava, Slovakia.
She attended a workshop with IMGCA Advisory Board Member Radek Sefcik, focusing on Feedback and Somatic Work in September 2023. Radek is one of the most prominent mental game coaches in Europe. Radek is a Level IV IMGCA Certified Mental Game Professional Coach.
